We apologize for the long wait but, as with so many other items, KY-SEF also encountered supply chain issues from t-shirts to ribbons.  However, t-shirts, prizes, and awards have been mailed.  If you were a registered participant in the fair and you or your school did not receive a package from KY-SEF by May 20, 2022, please email june.settle@eku.edu.

2022 Award Winners

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL STUDENT PARTICIPANTS AND THANK YOU TO THE JUDGES AT THE 20TH ANNUAL KENTUCKY SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR

The in-person fair at Alumni Coliseum at Eastern Kentucky University was been temporarily replaced with a virtual format to adhere to a number of public health recommendations as well honoring EKU’s COVID guidelines. By holding our fair in this format, our over 300 annual participants continue to be able to compete for many category and special awards while also having the opportunity to compete in national competitions such as the BROADCOM Masters for middle school students and the 2022 Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair for high school students.

All student participants in the virtual fair will receive an event t-shirt. Award winners will receive certificates, ribbons, plaques, and/or monetary awards (KY-SEF check payable to winner). If your school is open, these items will be mailed to your school.  Otherwise, they will be sent USPS to the address provided by you in STEM Wizard.  If you provide your school address and your school is closed, you may not receive your package. Please contact june.settle@eku.edu if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s awards and prizes.

We are grateful to our partners at Kentucky-based STEM Wizard for working collaboratively with us to support the ambitions of our participants.
