SPECIAL UPDATE

22nd Annual Kentucky Science & Engineering Fair

Save the Date!

Join us Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23, 2024 at Eastern Kentucky University for the 22nd Annual Kentucky Science & Engineering Fair!

STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR STATE FAIR IS CLOSED

NOTE:  The Science & Engineering Fair of Northern Kentucky (SEFNK) will not be held in 2024. The Louisville, Central, and East regional fairs will be accepting student projects from the affected counties. Please check https://www.societyforscience.org/isef/affiliated-fair-network/ for the fair that is accepting projects from your county.

On March 25, 2023 the in-person fair returned to the Alumni Coliseum at Eastern Kentucky University!  Nearly 300 participants competed in 21 STEM categories as well as for a variety of special awards.  Middle School students grades 6 – 8 were selected to compete in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge .  High School students grades 9 – 12 were selected to present at the 2023 Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair.

Check out the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair where Team Kentucky competed May 13-19, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.  Regeneron ISEF 2024 will take place in Los Angeles, California from May 11-17, 2024.  Visit here for Regeneron ISEF 2024 information.

We are grateful to our partners at Kentucky-based STEM Wizard for working collaboratively with us to support the ambitions of our participants.
