5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Registration and setup of projects. (Review of projects by Safety and Review Committee.  If you set up and leave Friday evening before the SRC has approved your display, be sure to check your form in the morning for signed approval or notes of changes to be made.  If your form was not signed Friday night, DO NOT leave your project Saturday morning until your display has been approved and your form signed.)

 

9:00 p.m.

Alumni Coliseum closes (Overnight security provided by EKU ROTC.)

6:30 – 8:00 a.m. (NOTE NEW REGISTRATION OPEN TIME)

Registration and setup of projects continues. All projects must be in place by 8:00 a.m.

Where: Alumni Coliseum

 

7:00 – 9:00 a.m.

Review of projects by Safety and Review Committee. All projects must have a signed Safety and Display Approval Form. Table project number must match Form project number.  DO NOT leave your display until your Safety and Display Approval Form has been signed by an SRC member.

 

7:30 – 8:30 a.m.

Continental breakfast for judges

Where: Fred Darling Auxiliary Gym

 

8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Orientation for judges

Where: Fred Darling Auxiliary Gym

 

9:00 – 9:45 a.m.

Judges review projects without students present.  All students and persons not affiliated with the state fair must leave the display floor.

Where: Alumni Coliseum

 

9:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Project judging (Students must remain with projects)

Where: Alumni Coliseum

 

11:30 a.m.  - 1:00 p.m.

Lunch for students (Lunch delivered to project site. Students must remain with projects. Lunch selection–Beef, Turkey, Vegetarian, Vegan– must be made when registering on-line. Students who do not complete the lunch request on-line will be provided a Vegetarian lunch.)
Lunch will be available for judges in restricted judges’ area in the Fred Darling Auxiliary Gym

 

11:00 – 1:30 p.m.

Project judging for Best of Fair. (Students must remain with projects unless they have been released by a Fair Official.)

Where: Alumni Coliseum

 

2:00 p.m.

Free show at EKU Hummel Planetarium (show begins 2:15) –OR– Tour of the New Science Building (tour begins 2:15)

 

3:00 p.m.

Free show at EKU Hummel Planetarium (show begins 3:15) –OR– Tour of the New Science Building (tour begins 3:15)

 

5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
